DAY CAMP 2023

Day Camp

2025

There are a few 2025 Camps to choose from!

Day Camp at the farm is my favorite time of the whole summer!

In order to have the best camper (and grown up) experiences, we limit camps to 15 kids per session so sign up early! Additionally we need at least 10 kids to host any one session.

The General Info:

Cost: $180 for 3 days of camp (plus sales tax – $13.28 according to my calculations) or  $60 per day (plus sales tax – $4.43).  A  $50 non-refundable deposit due at registration with the remainder due on or before the first day of camp.  (non-refundable unless we are unable to hold camp due to some kind of unforeseen calamity…..like say….. a new global health pandemic)

If you are registering online there is an additonal $10 fee for processing.

Date / Times: Camps will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Camp starts at 9 am and ends at 3 pm (Often arrangements can be made for earlier or later drop off and pick up times – make sure to let us know if there is an issue)

Any camp may be cancelled due to low registration, but for now, we thought we would throw out a bunch of options and see what works.

Soooo, here is the 2025 plan….

**************************************

What we do:

Each day will include a mix of age appropriate activities – farm chores, outdoor exploration time, animal time, snack, lunch, a craft or project and free outdoor play time.  (The  age groups are pretty general.  If you have a child you believe would do better with another age group just let me know!)

We emphasize problem solving, creative play, social and emotional skill building, teamwork, and natural consequences with a focus on empathy and compassion, with peers and with our animals.

Camp will be held rain or shine ( After all, life doesn’t stop if there is a little rain!)

A Day at the Farm – Generally speaking!

9:00 – Arrive at the farm!  Time to start the day!  We will all meet in the big red barn and have a quick orientation, introductions and instructions.
9:30 –  Morning Farm Chores – feed & water our animal friends, collect eggs, clean pens…
10:30 – snack
